Greetings from Argentina. I don't want to take up your time, but I have a question regarding the wood-burning stove I bought..
The stove works, but it doesn't do "double combustion" and I don't think it's being efficient. Try to make a picture of the internal workings.
As you can see in the image, on the back of the firebox, there are two rows of holes that serve as the main air intake, one row almost at the base, and the other at the top, and they cannot be closed, they are always open.
What I think happens is that it creates internal turbulence because instead of circulating the smoke, the rear intakes and the air that comes down from the front of the glass and the baffle don't allow it to burn properly.
The air opening control only closes the airflow passing in front of the glass. When it is closed, the flame and consumption are the same; the only difference is that the entire glass becomes sooted.
My question is whether there are any modifications to improve combustion. Sorry for taking up your time, and thank you very much in advance.
