What could cause this? It's a US stove multi-fuel pellet stove and it's only a few months old. The whole insulation board inside the stove is starting to flake up. It hasn't been cleaned with anything that could cause it to flake. Is it safe to run the stove until this can be repaired? Is it something I don't really have to worry about?

It's the only source of heat we use, and we're coming up on a very cold week.

If you've got what called cerra-brick it's a common problem. That stuff is only cosmetic and your stove will work fine without it.

Mine's busted in about 5 places...
