Hey y’all,

I am putting in a brick hearth pad in the corner of my living room. I bought a few bags of Type N mortar from Lowe’s, thinking that would be best considering that it is resistant to heat, but can’t stop thinking that maybe I should have gotten Type S instead since it is stronger. Does it matter or am I good to use Type N?
