Holy Crap Hog....the coal stove (with the convienent paper towel storage) from Plymouth I am almost positive was my grandmothers.....we gave it to a fellow my husband knew and he lives in Plymouth....husband tries to sell it years ago on ebay...people came to look at it but could not get rid of it so gave it away.....I can't wait to show this to him....

That Russo is a coal/wood stove. That's probably the best one, if you're buyin' I say get that plus the fisher and wood boss and you'll be in good shape.

Never ceases to amaze me what some folks try to sell and then ask such high prices. Then there is the stove of Gamma's. Simply amazing... %-P

We were pressed to get rid of that stove.....there was some type of crack somewhere that could not be fixed....the one couple came from 1 hour away and said the crack did not appear as bad in the photos....we had an apartment and had no storage so had to dump it.....that day boyz and girlz there was a session of the husband speaking in foreign tongues...... :lol: I just can't believe it's on Craig's list....My grandmother used to make all sorts of things on that stove....homemade chicken soup and the best bread...takes me back....

That's a nice stove and has that early American yard sale look about it ... I think the monitor top fridge is a good deal and they are collectible and worth alot restored..

I doubt that was the Holy Spirit giving the words.

When I was a little boy, a few years ago, mother did all the cooking and baking on a wood cook stove until one day she finally got a little gas stove. I really missed that stove for a long time, but mother didn't. But, the food still tasted good.

No Dennis...not the Holy anything....he makes up profanities as he goes along....never even heard of them.....He's a good guy but when he looses it....it becomes a freak show...and then there is the laugh....I know when I hear the laugh I go away.... :lol: I wish we could have kept that stove.....it was years before we ever thought of burnin anything and did not have anymore time to look into refurbishing....feel bad now
