Hi! I'm new to the forum. Joined because I'm having trouble understanding the change in the castine rear heat shield design. They changed their castine stove last year, eliminating the threaded holes that accepted the rear heat shield, which is not included with the stove. We're adding it because our walls get more hot than we like. We have the old style heat shield, but it doesn't work with the newer untapped stoves. Anybody know if there is a conversion kit, or am I better off getting the new style rear heat shield? I have the older style but haven't paid for it yet. THANKS!!

You will need the new heat shield. There isnt a way i am aware of to attach the old one to the new stove. Good thing you didnt pay for it yet! Hope you like the stove i am a huge fan of that one!
