Hello,
New to me Jotul in house I recently bought. Trying to ID the stove and also trying to figure out a good way to clean chimney with soot eater from bottom up. The roof is pretty steep and icy. I cleaned it once by removing stove pipe but I would love to be able to go up through the stove to minimize mess.
Thanks

Jotul F500. What material is the baffle? v1 has cast iron.

Disconnecting a pipe section is probably the easiest if it has a slip joint somewhere.

Top has some bolts holding for shipping you may need to disconnect the pipe. Then You could remove baffle. The pipe needs to come off to do that. I wouldn’t remove the outlet for fear of breaking bolts.

That Oslo looks like a version 1 with the vermiculite baffle with blanket on top (the wooden ash pan handle, the first cast baffle version had a silver egg handle and handle key to open and close ash door). Prob not a good idea to try to go through top of stove to clean. Like EbS suggested , take pipe out of flue outlet, put bag over end, tape on and gentle go up with soot eater. Have your vacuum running and ready. Is front door handle down all the way? Most lock down where handle is square to stove body. Stay warm, great heater.
