Hi Folks, I have a Jotul System 18. our home was built in 86 and the System 18 was built when the home was built. I have noticed on some pictures these have a metal peice inside at the top behind the doors. mine does not, what is this and is it needed? We use this stove 24/7 in the winters here in NH.
