A question on venting Jotul 160 corner install. Manual states a 2 ' vertical with a 45 and a 90. Is the horizontal piece from the 90 to the wall cap normally an adjustable piece or is it cut to length?

Not sure how you can use a 45 & a 90, but the horizontal section is usually a solid piece that “slips” into the wall thimble.

I'm looking at the install diagram and shows a 45 elbow and what has to be a 90. This is a corner install, but why couldn't I just 90 out?

Ok, now I get it. You CAN use a 90 without the 45. It moves the wall penetration further from the corner & may not look as good.

You don't cut any of the lengths.

Adjustable pieces are preferred not to be used, they usually don't look good, especially in the horizontal leg. Usually a vertical section, a 90, a 9" or 12" goes into wall thimble and decorative cover into the termination cap. You can use an adjustable if you can't get stove or venting hole in an acceptable spot. Most installers will avoid them if possible. Good luck with her.
