Oil,- that's funny. Sad to say, if those were mine, I'd end up with a pruning knife. :red:
 
One thing this picture DOES do is show the difference in the handles between the older Fiskars brand splitting axes (the short handled) and the new X27 (the longer handled one). Drink it in people...drink it in.
 
Yes, the longer will be much better.
