[Hearth.com] Lange Stove [Hearth.com] Lange Stove
My Dad is giving me this stove for my garage. It's taller than the almost same looking model he has in his kitchen. A few questions. Does anyone know what model this is?
Also, I will have a 6" chimney through the 2nd floor and roof, I think this is a 5" stove so I will need an adapter I guess?
The plate where the air control slides on is cracked, you can see it through the round opening on top. Is that difficult to replace, I would think it is.. looks like the top of the stove would need to come off to repair it.
Any thoughts or ideas on this stove would be great!

Lange made great stoves. They are amongst my favorites. This stove looks like the 6302a model. Unfortunately it also looks neglected, but you may be able to get the damper slide here:
