Leyden blower question

I have a new Leydon and whenever I try to change the blower settings to the highest or lowest I do not notice any change in the noise of the fan or the blower output. Another words it seems to be at the same speed all the time. I think the lights go up or down 1 level on the side but its really hard to tell where it is set at.

Should there be a very noticable change in the blower out put and noise of the blower from low to high?
How many blower speeds does the Lyden have?

To change speeds, you have to push and hold the button for about 3-4seconds, then release it. Then push and hold again, then release it.
Only changes by one notch at a time.
