looking for a pump

I am looking for a pump...

I need one that connects with 3/4 copper pipe and pushes water at 2gpm...I was hoping not to spend an arm and a leg. prefferaly bronze ... any ideas?

they are referred to as "circulators" not pumps. Try pexsupply.com and look at Grundfos and Taco brands.

Yes circulatior ... I have a taco 007 for my radiant floor zones. However, connecting my water heater to my furnace... my instruction say that a circulater pump is optional. I have concluded that it is not optional, because convection currents don’t work as well as we hope. Most of the pumps are stronger that I would like because I don’t want to pump cold water into the firebox. So, 2gpm is my limit. The problem is most pump I find are higher than 2gpm or plastic "toys" or 1/2 in.

Why bronze? You can get flange fittings for circ pumps that will tie into plumbing from 1/2" and up.

If he's using a convective loop, then his pump will be exposed to fresh water in the water heater constantly, so he's right in needing a bronze pump.

I'd get a Grundfos 15-42 3 speed pump. Put it on speed #1. Then use some Taco Freedom Flanges (The brass ones with ball valves built in. Also known as Isolation flanges) and use the outlet flange's valve to throttle the flow down a little bit more. That should do the trick for you with the least amount of electrical consumption or complexity.
