My Lopi Berkshire stove got really dirty and sooty inside a few years ago so I cleaned it all up and now it runs perfectly with just the front burner lit but if I start the dual burner setting it smells like gas and sets off my co2 detector almost immediately. I’ve been running it on just the front burner but really want to get it fully functional. I’ve done exhaustive research trying to figure out the issue with no luck. And yes the pipes are all very clean.

Did you pull the burner orifice & clean the gas tube behind it? Is the second burner controlled by a solenoid?
