last week, I pulled the stove out for a good cleaning. The service rails are totally worth it btw. I took a look behind it to find the OAK hookup. I found it...but it looks blocked off. So I have two questions:

How is this stove getting air?

Does that plate need to be removed before installing an OAK? There's no mention of how to hook up the OAK in the owner's or service manual, just states to clean the area during regular servicing.

That is a damper which opens when the exhaust fan is running - neg pressure. My stove is off at the moment; it is very windy out; I hear my damper flapping away (OAK is hooked up). If you push on the edge it should freely swing.
