Hello..I recently purchased a used Maxim M250..there were still pellets and corn mixture in it from last year so I know they are good and dry. When I try to light it the flame comes on and shoots 2 inches out into the pellets but nothing stays lit. Have done this 20 plus times and nothing. The flame only stays on for 3 seconds though but I see nothing on how to prolong the start flame. Thoughts?
Thanks

Pellets have probably absorbed too much moisture from being exposed to the air over time. Replace with fresh pellets and retry.
