Hi,

I wondered if anyone on the forum has experience of connecting an MCZ boiler with the 'Active' motherboard to and external control? There are connections on the board for a remote (Domotica) connection and also an external thermostat.

All of the examples I've seen and indeed the bulk of the info in the manuals points toward using the thermostat connections, but the remote has more appeal to me as it simply turns the boiler on or off and lets the boiler's own thermostat decide when it's getting near to the correct temperature.

My Musa stove was working fine on the 'remote' setup last year but has now stopped responding to the on / off which is simply a make / break connection. The thermosat make / break is still woking however.

Thanks
