From my tribe to yours.
Wishing all of you here in the Hearth family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Blessed New Year.

We have the whole family coming over after church this morning for Christmas dinner.. 4 kids and spouses (8 kids basically ) and 13 grandkids. It'll be a circus to say the least.
After dinner we'll sit down and read Luke Chapter 2, talk about what we hold to be the real meaning of the Holiday with the kids, then open gifts and sit back with a coffee to watch the house get turned upside down. The two youngest grandsons, 3 and 5, can do that all by themselves with no help whatsoever. :)

After that there's probably snow men to be made, rides on the Ranger, not enough ice for ice fishing yet so that's a bummer but maybe a little rabbit hunting or late deer scouting. :)

God Bless you all real good.

Snow men! I wish! Everything turned brown over the last couple of days.
Good for driving anyway. We're visiting sister in Jersey.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

Sure doesn't look like the end of December here right now. Our snow is completely gone except for ditches and piles in parking lots. Just saw 47* on my car thermometer!!

But......

The way the wind is starting to blow I gotta say we have some "weather" moving in big time. It's still from the South but on the back side it'll be from the North so we can probably kiss the 40's, 30's and even the 20's goodbye for a while. :)
