Mount Vernon AE hopper lid hinges

Hello all…I could use some help on my Mount Vernon AE. My wife put in bag of pellets and then tells me she broke the lid. I don’t know how but she bent the left hinge and it became detached. I can’t see what or where it was attached and I cannot find any diagrams. Can anyone help?

looks to be just held on with magnets
