Ya got it running for a test hop and first burn off, the topper will go on the vent pipe today. Ended up venting out the chimney, 27 ft vertical with a clean out T at the bottom ( 4" pipe). OAK another day. I fired it off in stove temp auto, feed at 4 and low medium fan, temp at 3.5,- 4, then cut the feed to 3. Set the fire alarms off in the house from initial residue smoke off the heat exchanger tubes and baking paint, that took maybe 20 min to clear with an open window and house fan and all was well ( it was expected, this isn't the first stove we have run and the fan was on standby just for this purpose !). Just have finishing touches and inspection to do. Some day we might pretty up the old fireplace front. For now you guys have to live with this photo, can't say we didn't do it !!
