Just wanted to mention for all northeast folk that there's an excellent exhibit at Mystic Seaport on the ill-fated Franklin expedition to find the Northwest Passage. My wife and I really enjoyed it. We took the time to listen do the interactive parts: listening on the hand-held speakers, watching the videos on display, and scrolling through the other computer-based displays. It’s very well done and worth seeing.

We were speaking with a seaport employee and he suggested coming to the exhibit early in the week over the winter when the rest of the seaport is closed and just the exhibit is open.
