These are bad. Chopped up smaller than any pellets I've seen before. Fills the bottom of the firepot with clinker stuff - not all that solid, but bulky enough to create a serious barrier between newly dispensed pellets and the ignitor. Having to dump the firepot 2x a day to keep going, where every day or two is usually fine.

Purchased from TSC.

The ones that I purchased from Lowes are working fine for me. No clinkers, easily ignite, some smalls but no more than any other pellets I bought, clean the ash daily from wear plate. I like them in my stove and would buy more. Burning less than a bag a day on the lowest stove setting and keeping the house 68 or so. Sorry to hear you are having a bad expiriance with them.

I love this stuff, really. For almost every pellet brand mentioned, folks either hate them, love them or are meh about them. I feel very strongly both ways. :)

Batch / Ton / Bag variance does exist especially in the "box store" brands!!

Must have been a bad day on the line when mine were bagged. Or they're coming out of more than one mill and going out under the same brand. They're all very short that I've got here. Not normal length at all. Not bad for fines; but about 100% smalls.

I burned about 20 bags last year and they burned great for me.Energex products are usually pretty good.I thought it was an American made pellet.
