I recently bought a motor home. Went to light the stove and run into some issues. I don't have any gas going to any of my appliances. Upon further inspection I found some problems. The white wire going to the valve goes to the front of the motorhome. And hooks to a auxiliary battery but there's not one in there right now. I jumped a wire from the main battery to the white wire for power. I then tried hooking the other wire the Yellow one, to the other terminal on the valve. No luck. I'm not sure what the black wires are for or any of them for that matter. if anyone has an idea on what to do, I could use an idea.

solenoids don't work w/o a ground, which the black most likely is.....

The white wire should go from that cut off,to the switch in your picture, then through a fuse, then to the battery. The other terminal to the right(in your picture) should go to a chassis ground.Something else was there,I would tape those xtra wires up.Those electric cut off valves have caused a lot of problems, many have been removed. If you do have to take system apart,do yourself a favor and remove it and put in a regular gas cutoff valve like you would use on a heater or stove.

Ok. thanks guys... Will try it tonight if I can find the time.
