Need help with Air leak around flush mount direct vent gas fireplace

We have a brand new flush mount Enviro direct vent gas fireplace installed. There is air draft around the fireplace into the house at sides and along bottom. Installer said he insulated around the box….need help
 
The installer may have insulated, but did he also Sheetrock & seal all seams in the space containing the unit? You can try leaving the pilot burning during the colder months - if you can. It will keep the metal box warm. Also, you can try to seal the valve cavity with aluminum tape. There are openings in that area for gas & electrical wiring that allow for cold air to penetrate.
