Just received a replacement motor for our stove. Bear with me, I am not a technical person...it has a white plug with 3 spikes and 4 spaces. The spikes are in slots 1,2,4. The part it is connecting to also has 4 spaces, 3 of which have a metal sleeve but the metal is in spaces 1,2,3. Slot 4 has no metal but a spike goes in there. Is that why the auger isn't working?

The stove model would be helpful, and perhaps a photo of each connector.

Doesn't matter where wires are, only uses two. Something else must be wrong for auger not to run. #2 snap disc, exhaust fan not turning on, try jumping vac switch, being careful not to ground it on the stove. kap
