New Harman today

Had an Absolute 43 installed today. After installation we fired it up, let it get pretty hot and than I shut it down and cool off a while.
I tried to open the door to look at the burn pot once it was cool and the door will not open?
What gives?

Fired it up again and heard a loud thud sound.

Sounds strange to have that issue on a new stove. Perhaps some parts weren't tightened correctly, or jiggled loose during transport/install.

I found this thread, which may help you. I would contact the shop where you bought the stove and tell them of the issue too.
