New MT. Vernon E2 pellet stove noise

Have had this new E2 stove for three weeks. When the stove is in the high to medium range it makes a loud pop every minute or so. (Metal on metal sound. Almost like someone is hitting the stove with a hammer)

I have played with it and it seems to stop when I turned it down to medium low and low.

Have contacted the place where I purchased it. Have not heard back from them.

Just curious if anyone out there has a newer E2 that may have had the same issue.
