Just installed a new PS50 to replace the 25PDVC. Have two issues with the stove.
The stove will never start without me pressing the reset button. On startup I get a good fire going and pellets start to feed in a couple of minutes, but they usually stop five minutes later. I hit the reset button and then the stove keeps feeding for good. The ceramic cover on the thermocouple is pushed in as far as it can go.
The second issue is where the firebox meets the ash pan. The stove is not sealed. When the fire is going you can clearly see the flame through the holes in the burnpot when you look under the ash lip where the firebox and the ash pan meet. If I wanted to I could stick a paper clip straight into the fire. Is this normal for that area to not be sealed on this stove?
