Some may have read that my daughter was in a crash in my '03 Ford Explorer Sport and they totaled it out. She's on the mend and will be fine after her knee heals. :)

Well, I was in no hurry to get a new truck since I'm not scrounging at this time but if I found the right truck at the right price I'd jump. Well, I did just that and my new hauler is an '07 Tacoma. I can't wait to hook up the trailer and see how she pulls. Here's a link to it:

I loved my Tundra, but I can tell you from experience my 06 did NOT handle the weight well... In the 7 years I owned it, I changed the front brake pads, serpentine belt, tires, and windshield wipers. I can honestly say it was like losing my highschool sweetheart when I traded it in with only 50k on it. Towed a boat fine, but the weight in the bed was just too much for it.

I only plan on putting small loads in the bed and the rest on the trailer. The only thing I tow is the trailer and I'm looking forward to seeing how well it handles.
