OEM Auger motor was Merkle Korff It has been discontinued, Is SPG any good Or Gleason Avery. I spoke with the Manufacture and they said they are no longer making them, Is SPG a good choice? I believe this is what Us Stove is sending out now.

I have heard of Gleason Avery. Probably all made at the same factory in China. Get one with a good price and warranty.

Yes I have heard of Gleason as well, Was wondering if anyone else had experience with the others.

My Harman P61a came with a Gleason Avery from the factory, 12 years ago. Still in there. Bought a spare, Gleason Avery! Made right here in the US.

Its a Volgerzang 5790 Which I purchased new in 2014, The stove burns around 4 Ton a year and heats roughly 2600 SF, The stove is a work horse.

I have the Model and Part Number, When I search I come up with both RPM's for that motor and I come up with 2 different specs for the stove. The Manufacture isn't producing the OEM motor anymore , They said they will send me info.

The Vogelzang 5790 pellet stove changed from a 1.5 RPM auger motor to a 1.0 RPM motor around 2015/2016 Early models used a faster 1.5 RPM motor, which sometimes resulted in overfeeding issues. 80488 became standardized at 1.0 RPM CCW to provide better feeding control. installing the 1.0 RPM motor instead of the original 1.5 RPM can result in a slightly lower heat output, requiring higher heat range settings, but provides a more consistent burn without overflowing the burn pot.

When I check the Part number it appears to be 80488 1.5 RPM.

This is the current motor Merkle Korff Model B4415 / 4415UI Which I see listed as a 1 or 1.5 RPM.

Any leads on a Quality 1 RPM? I don't want to overfeed the stove .
