New to both this forum and Old Mill stoves but not new to using a wood stove. We recently purchased a home, sight unseen , built in 2008 but apparently the stove is from the 80's. Turns out the ol Old Mill is in rough shape according to the inspection report. It seems as if it's been misused. The stove is warped, the bricks are missing and the baffle is damaged. An I actually missing part of the baffle? Shouldn't it cover the exhaust hole? Can I find replacement baffles? Is a warped stove unsafe?

That looks like a welded baffle. So replacing it would mean cutting it out and having a new one bent. We can't really see warpage in the picks but if it's warped bad it will need replaced
