Hello. I am new here, and mostly ignorant on my Woodmaster 4400. I bought it used 3 years ago. The issues began after I reinsulated and caused the wires to burn (again, my ignorance is astonishing). I rewired the fan, but did not rewire the work light or low water light (my light comes on when the water level is low, which I understand is different than newer models which go out when water level is low). I forgot this year that the light did not work, and when I flipped the switch on, I tripped the breaker. I decided to disconnect power to the light, as I have sufficient lighting from other buildings on the farm. Now, there seems to be an issue with the fan and/or aquastat. I hard wired the fan and plugged into an extension cord, and it works fine. My electric tester shows power up to the fan, but the aquastat isn’t engaging the fan when the water temp drops below 160.

My question is, how do I test the aquastat? The model is a Honeywell L6006A. I know how to do basic electrical work, but I’ve never truly messed with something like this. I assume I can put a multimeter on and check voltage. I can provide photos if that would help get any kind of answer. Thank you so much in advance, and I’m sorry for my ignorance.
