Hello as stated i have a harman pp38+ pellet stove. 2 knob style with no lights on the panel. That is very important because it seems like this style is rarely used. Contacted 2 different harman dealers and they couldn't find any info for my style. As to the problem that has been driving me crazy. Towards the end of last year the feedrate knob witch is what turns the combustion motor and auger on started having dead spots and the combustion motor itself was getting very loud. So this year I replaced the combustion motor and went to start it up and nothing. So I ended up replacing the potentiometer for both feed rate and blower. Still nothing. Brought the circuit board to a repair guy and he noticed a burnt diode and the programed chip was melted a tooth off somehow. I thought I may have gotten lucky and found a guy on ebay selling 23 of an exact match to my board first time finding them claimed some work some dont. Not im going through them and starting to try them out I have a few that look to be in brand new condition. But the stove is acting very funny. Either the combustion blower stays on no matter what until it senses heat then it goes intermittent. Several other boards act correct everything off untill I turn the feed rate knob then combustion blower turns on and auger turn of for like 30 sec to a minute. Once the stove starts getting to temp and I mean just starting to get warm so maybe 5 min of continuous burn. Everything starts to go intermittent combustion blower auger and distribution blower. On off as it seems fit seems like. Untill it blows the fuse that is. I've gone through 4 fuses now. It seems to blow because it will all shut off and for some reason all 3 things try turning on at once combustion, distribution, and auger popping the damn fuse. I also cleaned the esp. I tried unplugging the esp while it was running intermittent and the combustion blower ran continuous but nothing else worked. I will also note befor all this when the combustion blower was on and door was open it would slow slightly and then speed up when I closed the door. That does not happen at all now. May be related. Checked all the gaskets cleaned the crap out of all the cambers everything seems to have good flow when it decided to work. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated thanks for your time.
