Hi all, I am new to the whole wood stove heating. Last winter was our first full winter with only wood stove heating and we FROZE!! This year we have been looking into blowers for our wood stove but we have no idea where to start or even if we can have a blower on our wood stove. We have a single door Fisher (which I believe to be a papa bear). Any help or tip will be greatly appreciated.

Froze with a Papa bear? Something's wrong. How many square feet are you heating? Tell us about your chimney for starters. That is the engine that drives the stove and is the most important. Papa Bear has a 6 inch outlet and should be insulated 6 inch flue all the way up for the most efficiency.
