One of the gals I post with on another board lives on a boat off Vancouver Island, BC.

Thought I'd share her boat and galley.

Their home is 80 feet long, built in 1928 and was a BC coastal ferry
for 38 years. She retired in 1968, she carried 5 cars and forty passengers....

You PE fans will love this!

I asked her about that but evidently the angle of the picture doesn't show the space well. I was a bit concerned myself.


She replied:

There is a clearance of about 12 inchs maybe a bit more all the way around the stove, except next to the cook stove....we have the wood stove on top of ceramic tile which extends right accoss the floor to the other side of the room....
