How far does my pellet stove exhaust vent cap have to be from an oil tank fill pipe? I'm trying to figure out where to put the vent so I can order my pipe.

Good question, I've never heard this asked. Can someone chime in?

I would think 4 feet away. Your oil pipe has a cap on it. I would keep it as far away as possible. Is your piping coming out then up?

Yes, I have room to go up with the piping. I figured it was 4 ft when I was looking for a good spot.

Thanks for the help.

If your going out then up then it's a non issue. A horizontal vent would not be a good idea for your application.
Good luck with your stove.
