I have an American Harvester Multi-fuel wood\corn pellet stove. I burn only wood pellets. About a month ago I had to replace my auger motor. With the new motor the pellets feed at a high rate of speed causing the ash pan to fill quicker than the pellets can burn. I have it currently set at 3 heat, 9 room fan, 2 draft fan, and 1 auger. I have the draft in the front out about 1 1\2 inch. The pan is still filling up causing the glass to go black. Please any advise would be appreciated. This is model 6039 stove.

If all that has changed is the auger motor, the likelihood is that you have the wrong rpm motor.

I would call USSC and ask them if they can walk you through the process of changing your feed rate via the control panel. I am quite sure this can be done on the 6039 like my 6500.

The attached pdf has info that has worked on other stoves for people from what I have been told. Please do not attempt to change your setting if you are not comfortable with the process but the info is there if you would like to try.

Thank you for the information.

Yeah the feed adjustment rates are different on the 6300 board and the 6039 board. Fast way to check motor is Auger motor spins clockwise. If you got it from US stove it's the only clockwise motor. Also thr rpm is 4.1. Check those first to insure you have the correct motor before adjusting feed rate. After if you want/need to adjust just let me know . USSC will be closed until Monday but I'll check on here and get you the info.

That is amazing. A new member to this forum speaks out about a problem and a tech is willing to help her out on his own time over the upcoming cold weekend, knowing she can't can't get help until Monday! My hat is off to you, Owen, yourself a new member. This forum is the best!

I agree way to go Owen

Thanks but I'm a burner on this forum who just happens to be a tech. Nothing more then anyone else would do

Debw I would first suggest that you try running your Draft fan equal to your heat range setting. Or one above.
