Went to relatives house yesterday for Thanksgiving.

We had purchased a frozen turkey, breast only on the bone, to cook today.

The turkey was still frozen early this afternoon, so we needed to do the thaw in cold water thing.

Neither sink basin would hold water without it leaking out and we could not find a container deep enough.

Finally, my wife said, "What about the pellet pail."

Yup, emptied the pellets, rinsed out the pellet dust, and the pail is working great.

A 14" pail from Northlineexpress: (broken link removed to http://www.northlineexpress.com/itemdesc.asp?ic=5MM-C-65)

Wonder if the turkey will have a hardwood/softwood mix flavoring . . . . .Hmmmmm . . . .

No, we do not plan to stuff the turkey with pellets.
