Hello all, looking for some guidance on our Hampton/Regency GCI60 / Enviro M55-FPI (about 10 years old) - before replacing the combustion blower for $500.

Here’s what I’ve done so far and issues:

Stove issues
  • Stove is slow to light, triggers a code 3 (exhaust temperature too low), and needs a restart to finally light
  • Flame burns ok for a couple hours or less, but slowly dies over time, then code 3 triggers and stove shuts off
  • Flame jumps up if door is cracked open, indicating insufficient draft or vacuum not being pulled?

Repairs & maintenance already done

  • Replaced gaskets for door, combustion exhaust blower and chimney
  • Stove cleaned out top to bottom
  • Cleaned the combustion blower
  • Tried all damper and electronic air trim settings

What else should we try?

My thought is a weak combustion blower issue - but is there anything else I should verify first?

Any advice from people who’ve run into this before would be hugely appreciated.

Describe your venting. Also if possible try leaf blower trick. You need a leaf blower that has vacuum abilities. You use leaf blower outside to suck the ash out of venting and hard to reach spots in stove.
