Look at this guy's criminal history. A drug addiction leading to forgery, stealing guns, and a fuel oil truck. Unbelievable that someone would hire him a couple years after that to manage their store and deal with their sales and receipts.

Note that the business went belly up and the customers who had paid for these things, made deposits, etc haven't (and likely never will) receive refunds for any money they gave the company.

Between the Harman stove fiasco this year, the above linked fiasco, and the NEWP pellet fiasco, it's sage advice to NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING SOMEONE DOESN'T HAVE IN STOCK.

There's a thread just below here where someone states they STILL haven't received their pellets ordered this summer.

Liter of Cola,

Please post updates on this guy's trial and sentence in case the local papers do not carry the article. Had read a short piece about the scam some weeks ago, but nothing since.

I would suggest that Mr. Tibbetts' defense attorney be awarded the opportunity to share a jail cell with his client since, by his comments, the attorney feels that his client is a model of rehabilitation and an asset to the community.
