pellet stove thermostat

Hello . I bought my first pellet stove a month ago . I m not completly sure on the brand of it. It works it runs, how ever I tried to hook up a thermostat to it, the wires are there for it, the stove does not kick off when it hits the set temperature. Also the stove does not go up any higher the feed speed one. It will flash on the other ones and just got back to one. The picture is of my pellet stove control panel

Seriously? Somewhere on, under or behind the stove, they'll be info on a placard or label, such as model #, serial #, manufacturer, make, year manufactured, etc. I am relatively new to this but the guys here that can help you won't be able to unless you extend some effort to provide enough detail.

From looking at the picture it appears the stove was manufactured by the Danson group. This makes it a Pelpro or a Glow Boy. Perhaps there are some people here that own one of these stoves. Did you get a manual with it?

I ve found Warnock hersey , and danson. I ve looked both up. Not sure which one is the name of it. Unfortunately no I didn't get the manual.

Warnock Hersey is an independent testing lab. Danson is usually sold under the PelPro name perhaps others.
I really don't know much about those stoves I'm sure someone with some knowledge of them will be along soon to help you.

My guess on the thermostat is you didn't set it up right on the control panel or you have an incorrect thermostat. Without knowing the stove make and model and thermostat make and model it's pretty much impossible to give any advice.

Somewhere on the stove there is a name plate. The name plate will give the manufacturer, model name and probably the date of manufacture. If you can post a legible picture of that name plate, we may be able to help.

As a example if you set the thermostat on 70 and have as a example5 heat settings you can set it on high or number 5 then when the 70 degrees is reached the stove will drop down to number 1 idling until the thermostat calls for more heat then the stove will ramp up to number 5 again. Basically the stove will stay on level 1 producing a low flame until more heat is called for.
If you have the stove at heat level 5 then turn the thermostat up but the flame stays the same I would check and see if there is a thermo couple wire disconnected from the board.

Could be a Cheap Charlie or a Danson Pelpro 120- both of those used Accutron II boards. Does your stove look like a 3 foot tall black box with a viewing window? They were basic looking stoves, very boxy.

Is the thermostat a milivolt or 12-volt thermostat?

I never could understand where Quad came up with the requirement for a 12 volt thermostat since they are either millivolt or 24 volt. I seriously doubt she would know which it is. Just getting the brand name and model by popping off the face plate should give us that info.
