Hello everyone,

I have an intention of having a wood fired boiler heating system in near future. System will be used for heating the home with panel radiators and for domestic hot water produce with solar and boiler assisted. Since there is no common practice in my country, I need help on having piping and instrumentation diagram of the system which can be like a best practice in terms of both safety and efficient operation. There are many information on the internet with some options and alternatives. But, I really need something which is a real example of installed and has been using with safely and efficiently. I hope I can run across with the user or the installer having same components with my setup. My main components will be as follows;

· Wood gasification boiler with closed expansion tank & anti-condensation load valve group ( ~30 kW)

· Back-up LPG boiler

· Thermal storage tank ( ~ 1.500 Liters)

· Homerun distribution system with panel radiators

· Sanitary hot water tank with Solar coil and boiler coil separately ( ~250 Liters)

I really appreciate if you share your system diagram.

This has a lot of good information.

Biomass-Hydronics-Training PDF

it pretty much shows examples of everthing you need

Thank you very much for your reply. I have already had a look at your proposal document. There are many good examples with alternatives also. But, as I mentioned in my request I need an installation diagram which is already installed using my components. I know also there is not only one solution for this. I am looking for users who are happy with their installations in terms of safety and operational aspects.

Check out the stickies at the top, and search for 'simplest storage revisited' on this forum.
This is the information which I would like to have because of reflecting real tested installation.

Hoping to communicate with other happy users :)

Thank you very much.
