I'm not at all surprised. I'm proud. I'm sad for our good friends' tragedy up North. We've always stood together, and we'll continue to do so. Rick

Hasn't the American national anthem been booed more than several times in hockey games up north?

This has absolutely nothing to do with hockey. Rick

I think the American one has been booed up North and the Canadian one has been booed down south. When competitive hockey teams start competing for playoff poisitions, everyone (including players) can act like a bunch of apes.

But when times of trouble and difficulty are faced, the competitiveness is always forgotten and we stand side by side.

The rivalry in hockey is not much different between that among politicians at Centre Block in Ottawa yet politicians were hugging each other... Lots of Canadian connections to US teams but it's a class act to show solidarity... Pittsburgh and Boston.

Respect to Samearn Son, security, who raised the alarm and made a grab for the rifle while unarmed and sustained injuries for his action. Kevin Vickers and the many unnamed security who protected those in Parliament.

RIP to Nathan Cirillo and Patrice Vincent; Thank you for service to your country.
