hi there im new here bought my stove going to be 2 yrs in october . I had a quadrfire before . My question is does anyone know the resistance of the room sensor probe cause my stove when in temperature burn lights builds the fire ,blower fan goes on the stops feeding till fire is almost out the refeeds again same thing . ive always used the temp burn setting before . now im using constant burn and it works fine . does the temp probe go out ? ive checked the resistance of wires there ok thanks <

Once the stove lights switch it to manual in the room temp mode. See if it holds temp where it is set. That will give a idea if the room sensor is good or not.

Maybe try a bit or a relocation on the room probe. Is your ESP clean?

Just measured the temp probe on my XXV...... 4.54 kohms at about 63 deg F in the corner of the room where it is located. When you checked yours did you overlook the 'k' in the read which is a multiplier of 1000?
Check the probe in the house where it's warm and then take it outside where it's colder and take another read. It should change value.

Average room temp reading for a Room sensor is 3,600-3,300 ohms decreasing on heat. It’s a thermistor so it basically works the opposite of a tcouple.
