I think I need to replace the convection blower on my quad 1200i. It has started whining like crazy. Any body know how much this might cost and whether it's pretty easy to do?

Hmmm....are you sure it is the convection blower???? I only say this because my experience with my Quad insert is the exhaust blower makes the first whining noises. Double check and make sure before you spend your money. However everyone above is correct. Two bolts and two wires and you are good to go on the convection blower. You do have to pull the stove out to get at it though..![]()

clunk said:Just to close the loop on this. Picked up the combustion blower yesterday and installed it. Stove is happy and quiet. Thanks to all for helpful suggestions.

Are you going to try to replace the bearings in the old one for a spare? Hope so. If not, maybe we can work out some shipping arrangement to me.![]()

I did keep the old one and was going to take a good look at it when I get a chance. But you will have 1st dibs if I decide to get rid of it.
