Here's the scenario- the stove is in a mobile home I have rented out to folks on hard times, and now I'm selling it to a recent divorcee. The stove is the primary heater and has done a wonderful job, but isn't working right now. I have to get this thing functional in the next week. Of course, I can't find the manual, so I'm having difficulty remembering the basic start-up procedures. The current scenario- plug it in, fan noise is audible (not blower), hit the re-set button-nothing. Hold re-set for 30 seconds-nothing. Then any combination you can think of- nothing. What did I forget?
Everything is clean, no exhaust obstructions, hopper is clean, no fines in the auger that a shop vac. couldn't get out. Auger cannot be turned by hand, but I don't know if that's normal or not. I removed the rear right side plate and "re-set" the snap discs, really didn't notice anything when I did this. Plugged it back in and tried again, failed to work. The control housing blinks 3 times, and again after a few seconds. What direction should I be pointed at to fix this thing before I yank it and haul it 60 miles for a Pro-service? The authorized dealers won't come here, too far they say. Thanks in advance, JB
