I have a Free standing quadra fire 800. I pulled out the heat exchanger rods to clean the exchangers. But the rods won't go back down into the pellet stove. Is there a trick to getting these cleaning rods back in?

Is the stove cold? Use a small block of wood and hold it on the rod end and tap with a hammer. Not wail on just tap. If it doesn’t give, you will have to clean the daylights out of the tubes with a wire brush and a putty knife

Thanks Ssyko, I'll give it a try, I've been trying to wiggle and jiggle. Definitely regret pulling them so far out. Lol. I'll update soon.
