Like some help if anyone is up for it, stove is dead, cleaned it out, replaced .5 amp fuse in control box as it was toast, stove worked fin for a day, burned out fuse again, replace and now stove goes on for a second, light dims and stove dies, control boxes are $300 but thinking thats the culprit--unless something else is toasting the fuse?

Something is blowing the fuses, will the box if not already. kap

ZRock, Replaced another fuse in control box, disconnected igniter and plugged unit back in, power briefly but total shutdown again.

I think he meant that a short circuit will destroy your control box eventually. Next thing to do is trace the wiring for the igniter to see if it’s pinched somewhere or shorted to ground.

Try unplugging the blowers as well so the board has no load. If it still blows then u have a faulty component on the board somewhere

Check you combustion motor make sure it turns freely by hand. Do the same with you convection blower. Un plug wires to your auger motor and combustion motor plug stove back in and see if it blows a fuse. Your combustion and auger are the first in the start-up sequence.

And....unplugged convection motor, replaced fuse, plugged stove in, stove worked, plugged in blower and stove started working--pellets fed and ignited and started to burn properly but before main blower came on the control box LED's went dim and box started clicking (2x per second), pushed reset on wiring box but clicking started after 5-10 seconds. Unplugged it.

All motors turn freely, didnt check auger though, all motors have been replaced in last ten years except auger, sounds like a component issue, not control box.

Ok with the stove unplugged pull your control box out and then put back in. Then jump the connections on snap disc #1 and plug back in and hit start. Snap disc 1 controls your convection fan and may be bad or popping off and on causing the control board to freak out

Unplugged thermocouple and clicking (relays in box) stopped, got a new one but clicking continued after thermocouple installed.
Ssyko--jumped the snap disc and still blew fuses, problem now is that control box relays are going nuts, probable sending surges of electricity to motors, don't want to burn them out, will probably just replace box, can't think of anything else to do.

I agree. Damage is probably already done.

yup, still can't figure out the fuse blowing, 1st lasted a day, next 4 were instantaneous, then no more but clicking of relays, maybe just degradation of control box, lasted two years. Thanks to all, s
