Quadrafire Mt. vernon EXCESSIVE EMBERS

I have a Quadrafire Mt Vernon non AE pellet stove. Having an issue with excessive amounts of embers. When the pellets drop, there is and explosion of embers and a huge amount get sucked right into the pipe, resulting in a ton of embers being spit out the pipe outside.

That's why they recommend no combustable material outside the exhaust. Could be the brand of pellets you are using ,or too much fines and dust in it when you put it in the hopper. kap
