Quadrafire Thermostat

Just installed a MT. Vernon AE stove that I bought used is a 2012 model, and the thermostat is blank all I'm getting is a light.

Do I have a bad thermostat ?
Or is there something else that I can check.

Is the light on the thermostat or in the stove? Does the thermostat have battery's?

the light is in the thermostat and there's no batteries is hard wire to the stove.

I would verify the wiring connections and voltages, failing that I would think thermostat.
