I've got a Quadrafire Trekker that was installed about a week ago and it is working well. Problem is that my wife and I like our smart appliances and the Trekker just isn't that. I'd like to hook it up to an EcoBee or Nest thermostat, but the terminals aren't labeled.
The instructions say that the thermostat hooks up to the two terminal connector. It doesn't say which is R, Rh, W...anything. When I check them with a VOM I get 12.35vac between ground and the top screw. And 11.33vac between ground and the bottom screw.
So how do I know which is which?

Same principle as this thread.
